    About Sara

    Sara Shao is a Senior Buyer Specialist at Real Estate HQ with more than a decade of experience helping families and new immigrants navigate the Greater Toronto Area housing market. Born in Shanghai and raised in Toronto, Sara brings a uniquely bilingual perspective to her work — she has closed over 400 transactions in English and Mandarin Chinese since obtaining her RECO registration in 2014.

    Sara's practice is rooted in Markham, Scarborough, and Richmond Hill, where she specializes in first-time buyer education, pre-construction condo assignments, and multi-generational family purchases. She is a frequent guest speaker at first-time buyer seminars hosted by local credit unions and immigrant settlement agencies, and was named one of the GTA's Top 50 Under 40 Real Estate Professionals by the York Region Realtors' Council in 2022.
